Welcome to Mac!
If you're new to Mac or switching from Windows, this guide is for you. We'll walk you through everything you need to know to get comfortable and productive on your Mercury-issued MacBook. Each lesson is short, visual, and focused on what you'll actually use every day.
A Quick Note About Your Mercury Mac
Your company MacBook is configured for work, so a few things work differently than a personal Mac:
- Messages & FaceTime are not available on your work Mac
- Apple Music & iTunes are not available
- Calendar & Notes are available but with limited functionality — use Outlook Calendar and OneNote instead for work
- Software installation is managed by IT — use Self Service to install approved apps
